A weird mix of genres and a splash of fun and you’ve basically got Toronto-based The Meligrove Band. Behind a jaunty piano riff, and crashing cymbals throughout, “Bones Attack!!” is an off-humour take on a relationship, with the odd, yet cute chorus, “If I love you to death / Will your bones attack me?” repeated throughout.
Although this band hasn’t quite reached the fold of well-known acts, their odd mix of pop, electronic, indie, and rock is supported nicely by their electric energy.
